39 Weeks Pregnant

I NEVER EVER thought I would make it to 39 weeks pregnant. Hannah was born right at 38 weeks so this baby has stayed in a week longer than her. I've also been having painful contractions since 32 weeks, which I was given some medicine to stop them. So, I assumed this baby would come early and now here we are, right on time. My due date is in one week! People ask me "When are you due?" and I can answer "Next week." That never happened with Hannah. With Hannah I was praying that she didn't come early since we moved into a new house 2.5 weeks before her due date so when I went into labor with her it was a complete shock! This one, I'm waiting and waiting for him to come. I'm trying to stay busy and preoccupied. After my scare at 32 weeks, Jesse and I quickly got the nursery ready. I got all the clothes washed and organized. Did a lot of my "nesting" around the house. But that was all done by 37 weeks, when i was full term. The last few weeks have drug on and on. I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I will be pregnant forever and just to enjoy these days while they are here. Hannah and I have had a lot of fun together and the house is cleaner than ever. Here are some pics of Hannah (I don't have one of me at 39 weeks since I've only been awake two hours)....

 Go Aggies! Gig Em!
Using Parker as a Pillow....I'm sure he loved that...
Hannah's current stage is to bring all her "babies" into bed with her; I don't know where she sleeps
Apparently, sometimes she just chooses to sleep on the floor in her doorway
Having so much fun at the pool!! she loved it! Just wish the pic wasn't sideways.

  2. Love all the pictures! I can't believe you're 39 weeks either! We all thought you would come two weeks early like you did with Hannah. Just hang in there a little while longer. You're in our prayers.

  3. A few things:
    1. I love that I am reading this and you just brought your sweet boy home with you! Yay for no longer being pregnant!!!
    2. My Hannah sleeps with ALL of her dolls too! It's insane! She likes to have them surrounding her, with her arms around as many as possible. And then a blanket over top. How she manages is beyond me! Oh, and she sleeps in the floor too. Must be a kid thing :)
    3. You are now a mommy of two!!! And no longer pregnant! And he is healthy and home! YAY!
